# FAQ

- When should you choose a wireless alarm system, and when should you choose a wired one ?

            - Wireless alarm system:

Ideal for existing buildings or locations where it is difficult to run cables. Installation is quick, clean, and flexible—perfect for residential buildings, small offices, or temporary setups.

Wired alarm system:

Recommended for new buildings, businesses, and security-critical locations where reliability and stability are essential. No reliance on batteries or susceptibility to radio interference—a durable, professional solution.

        - How long do the batteries last in wireless alarm systems ?

            - On average, the batteries in wireless alarm systems last 2 to 3 years, depending on usage (e.g., frequent opening of doors or windows) and the ambient temperature.

Heavy use or extreme temperatures can shorten the battery life.

Our systems automatically alert you when the battery is low to ensure safe operation.

        - Do you also offer Wi-Fi cameras ?

            - Yes, we offer Wi-Fi cameras, but we recommend wired systems for permanent installations. Wired solutions are more reliable and secure. Wi-Fi is suitable for locations where it is difficult to run cables, but it can pose risks of interference and security breaches.

        - Do you offer maintenance contracts ?

            - Yes. We offer preventive and corrective maintenance contracts that include regular inspections, firmware updates, remote maintenance, and priority service.

        - What happens if the internet goes down ?

            - Our systems record data locally and automatically sync once the connection is restored. For critical locations, we offer network redundancy (4G/5G) and secure local storage.

        - What are the regulations for smoke detectors in Luxembourg ?

            - In Luxembourg, smoke detectors are required by law in all apartments and houses.

At least one detector must be installed in every bedroom and in the hallway (near emergency exits).

It is also recommended that detectors be installed on every floor and in central living areas to ensure early warning of a fire.
